Andy Lee, 2007 Operation Trainee

As a fresh graduate, I can strongly feel the efforts company has beening on developing talents. In the past six months, I joined more than 10 training sessions, covering the fields of communication skills, operation management, time management, lean manufacturing, quality management, finance knowledge and etc,. We are given abundant opportunities to be involved in company’s daily operations. In my first assignment, I successfully improved the performance of equipment and was awarded the 2007 Q2 Outstanding Award. Besides, my project won the 1st prize in MVP Competition of Cooper China. In Cooper, everyone’s effort is acknowledged regardless of one’s position or age, which gives us an equal stage to fully play our roles.

I started my career in Cooper from 2003 and witnessed Cooper’s strong and rapid growth in Asia in the past 5 years, which make me confident in Cooper’s brilliant future. During the 5 years’ working in Cooper, I am really impressed by Cooper’s growth, continuous improvement and endeavor in talent development.

Amazing Growth Cooper started with a small sourcing office in Shanghai, but now we not only possess an outstanding sourcing team but also a global R&D Center, strong sales teams and 10 operational plants in Asia.

I joined Cooper as a quality engineer, and later I joined Management Development Program. Now I’m in the role of quality manager to execute base on what I learned from the program.
